Welcome to the Franchise Bulldog Association & Registry. The registry and club was founded in 2004 by Don C. Weathersby. This organization was founded for the betterment and preservation of franchise bulldog breeding and working bloodstock.
The registry headquarters is located in Jefferson City, Missouri. Our goal is to ultimately retain and maximize the best temperamental and physical traits in our bulldogs. Our program is not the ordinary program.We pride ourselves in striving to perfect the bloodstock by selecting the best specimens through a merited system. The process is accomplished by stringent measures to insure that we only retain the best of the best. We have conducted a hand on study of bulldogs, and numerous other canine breeds to form a bigger picture.We realize that a vast majority of today's bulldog programs are being bought, sold, accepted and recognized by any canine organization/club that emphasizes phenotype expressions only. The repercussions of this have resulted in a high quantity of poor quality bulldogs being marketed.
We are committed to discipline, which is our biggest asset. We believe that any breeding program must institute discipline in terms of their breeding goals and objectives. In turn we are life students of animal science. This requires good management of the program, and above all an infinite amount of patience. We remain steadfast at the cutting edge of canine technology.
Such possibilities are only achievable, for any breeding program, through factoring in discipline. We hope to inspire others to do the same in order that they may continue to celebrate superior quality bulldogs. We look forward in educating people on the basis of top quality, not quantity, may we hopefully expel human whims and distractions.
